Medieval torture device would be a more accurate description.

| stonelaystill's Full Review: Panasonic Pore Cleanser With Mist EH2501S |
When I first heard about a pore cleansing device I was beyond excited. I thought the pore cleanser would succeed where all the expensive masks, scrubs, peels, strips, and astringents had failed. Boy was I wrong.
The Panasonic Pore Cleanser came attractively packaged and conveniently stocked at the local drug store. I picked mine up, and hurried home to deep cleanse with my newly found Holy Grail of skin care. The product itself is a light suctioning device with a maleable rubber cup fitting over the opening. The instructions had me wet my face, and then turn the gizmo on, running it lightly over my "trouble spots." What a nightmare. The "light suction" actually stung. After about three minutes of this abuse, I turned off the cleanser and saw that my face was red and was actually swelling where the device had gone over. My face was sore and tender for hours afterwards. To add insult to injury (literally), my pores didn't look any cleaner, and when I looked into the rubber cup, all I saw was water.
In the morning, I woke up and looked in the mirror to find a strange hickey like rash on my cheeks. The dots were small, about the circumfrunce of a straw, but definately noticeable. They faded after about three days, but for those three days I had to walk around telling people I was on some kind of new medication that had discolored my skin.
