Being a UC Berkeley student, I am on campus for most of the day, especially on the upper east side of Berkeley, and using Cingular (formerly known as Pac Bell service) has frustrated me greatly, for the reception in Berkeley is horrible. In other parts of the Bay Area, I do not have as much problems getting reception. But I feel that,personally, at the expense of all the benefits given in these plans, the service provided is definitely sub-par. For people outside of Berkeley, given the rates for the service and all the benefits included in the packages, I would somewhat recommend this service, for generally provides good service; it just does not meet my needs on campus in Berkeley.
