Pros:Cleans, polishes wood floors in one easy step
Cons:None so far
The Bottom Line: Your wood floors will look their best, when you use this Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner

We moved into our 3 bedroom ranch home quite a few years ago. In our home most of the rooms had Oak hardwood floors in it, from the 3 bedrooms, living room and into the dining area as well. The floors looked great but with 3 children running about, we decided to carpet the bedrooms and the living room with carpeting.

When my children finally grew up and went out on their own, we decided to remove the carpeting from their rooms. After years of wear and tear from the kids, the carpeting in the bedrooms didn't look all that great anyway. I was thrilled to finally have our oak wood floors showing once again.

The rooms were then available for company to use when they visit us. My sister and brother do come up from Florida every so often to visit, and the rooms do come in handy. Even the grand children will stay over night at times and use the room also. My sister was just up here in late June to visit. Before she came here I decided to give the hard wood floor in the one bedroom some cleaning and polishing up to freshen it up.

And that's where the Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner comes in. While in the market I happen to come across this Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner, which I did purchase for $5.99.

MY REASON FOR BUYING THIS ORANGE GLO WOOD FLOOR POLISH AND CLEANER:
I've used a few of the Orange Glo products and had good luck with them. I especially liked the Orange Glo Spray Polish and Cleaner for my Kitchen Cabinets which I liked very much, but this spray cannot be used on wood floors. Being the Orange Glo spray cleaner worked very well on my kitchen cabinets, I figured this Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner for wood floors would also do a nice job on my hard wood floors, and I like the idea of saving time, by cleaning and polishing my wood floors all in one application.

FEATURES:
The Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner comes in a Green plastic bottle with a pull up spout for releasing the cleaner. It contains 24 ounces of a white creamy cleaner, which was more then enough to do all of my bedroom wood floors with it.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
After removing a wicker trunk and nite stand, I vacuumed out the room thoroughly. Got my sponge mop and a bucket of water ready.

Then I squirted the cleaner on my floor. I squirted about a 3 foot area each time. With my damp sponge mop, which by the way was wrung out really well, I went over the area with long strokes making sure that I went in the direction of the grain of the wood.

I repeated this process until my whole room had been done. In between applications I found that it was a good idea to rinse out my mop in water to remove any dirt that the mop picked up. I was quite surprised to see that the water in my bucket was not all that dirty after doing the whole room. Probably because the room was only used for a spare room for quests and grand children and doesn't get a whole lot of traffic in the bedroom.

Alright, I know what your saying, water isn't good to use on wood floors. But when I used the Orange Glo cleaner with my sponge mop, I made sure that I squeezed out the water real good in the mop. I even damp mop my wood floors occasionally. Water won't harm a wood floor finish, providing the floor and finish is in good shape, and the floor is mopped properly. Your only cleaning the finish and not the wood. All of my wood floors are in real good shape, and from time to time they do get a very damp mopping. I guess the reason their in good shape is because they've been carpeted and protected while my kids were growing up.

Anyway I found the floor did dry in about 15 minutes and I was able to move my few furniture pieces right back into the room. A few weeks ago I used the Orange Glo Wood Floor Cleaner and Polish on the other two wood floors in the other bedrooms. I did it on a hot and humid day, and found the floor did take a little longer to dry. So it's best to use the cleaner when the weather is not humid or muggy.

END RESULTS:
It did leave a nice sheen on my hardwood floors once again. It wasn't a real shiny shine, just a nice natural luster. I also really expected the smell from the cleaner to take on a orange smell, which it didn't. Although the smell of the cleaner did have a clean and real pleasant odor, which I was pleased about, as some of those Orange scented cleaning products can be overwhelming at times.

I also noticed that if I walked over the wood floor with bare feet, the floor felt nice and clean. I didn't feel any grime or residue that was left on the floor after it was cleaned and polished with the Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner

A FEW WARNINGS:
As with most cleaners the Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner should be tested in a inconspicuous area before using. I tested it on the wood floor in the closet in the bedroom and found it to be okay to use on my wood floors

A FEW CAUTIONS:
This Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner should be kept up and away from children and pets. It could be very harmful if swallowed. Even though it has a pleasant odor to it, I did keep the bedroom window open for ventilation while I used it. Excessive inhaling of the vapors could also be harmful.

NOTE FROM THE CONTAINER:
Not for use on unfinished wood, unsealed, waxed or oiled floors. And do not use on severely worn floors. So if your floors are not in good shape, I probably wouldn't recommend using this Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner on them

MY FINAL THOUGHTS:
I love my wood oak floors and find that they give warmth to my bedrooms. I find that wood floors are easy to care for if properly maintained and cleaned and polished with the Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner. I like the idea of having to clean and polish my wood floors all in one easy step. And the Orange Glo Wood Floor Polish and Cleaner left a nice clear non-slip sheen to my wood floors. I like a product that not only smells nice, but cleans dirt and grime while it polishes my wood floors as well. I do recommend it highly for keeping your wood floors protected, cleaned and polished. Give it a try!!

As Usual Thanks For Reading!!
