Re: Is it really you? (Reply to this comment)

It's me!
I did, in fact, fall off the face of the Earth. However, I was able to locate a very large ladder and haul my butt back up here!
Actually, a trip off the face of the Earth would have been preferable to reality, which is that I have started a new job that keeps me busy about 60 hours a week, most of which is in front of a computer, leaving me unable to play epinionator during the work day and unwilling to do anything computer-oriented when I am free! Hopefully I will soon be able to return to regular epinions participation, though never at the levels you manage!

I thought you had fallen off the face of the earth. Where have you been for the past, oh, 13 months or so?

Hey Jeff
Actually, the pre-game warm up is by far the best time for observation. Adam very kindly placed himself in front of me on the 10-yard line and stretched for a while. Willie McGinest and Ty Law also did some nice calisthenics before the game -- which I assume was all for my benefit. This is all enhanced by the fact that before the game, they wear much, much smaller clothing. And no pads to get in the way of all those muscles.
But that is NOT why I love football. At least, that's not the ONLY reason I love football...

PS: I am so jealous that you got to go to the parades! I really need to quit my job so that sort of thing is more available to me.

Tight pants are wonderful...but how did you have time to check out the stadium looking at all the players?
BTW, I've seen them twice in the Boston parades and they look even better up close.
