Every now and then, a product will come along that I personally think everyone should have. Febreze is one of those products.
About the product
Febreze is a fabric refresher. It's main purpose is to eliminate odors from fabrics. Febreze is available in different size packages and different formulas. I own Febreze in the Original formula, one liter size.
Febreze comes in a plastic spray bottle, similar to most household cleaning products. A nozzle at the end of the sprayer allows you to turn the sprayer off or on.
Claims from the back of the bottle:
"Our patented odor elimination formula surrounds odors and sweeps them away, leaving your home noticeably fresh wherever you use it."
Febreze can be used on sofas, curtains, carpet, rugs, cars, pet areas, clothing, bedding, fabric or canvas shoes, gym bags, and basically anything fabric.
To use Febreze, simply spray the area or item you wish to eliminate odors from in a sweeping motion until slightly damp (not soaking wet).
My Experience
I share a house with a smoker and 3 pets, so you imagine that there are times when the Febreze comes in handy.
I use Febreze mainly on my carpets because my pets lay all over the house. I notice that Febreze takes care of any odors they may have left where they rested on the floor.
Occasionally I use Febreze in my car just to add a little freshness. I'm in my car a lot so it's nice to keep it smelling nice in there.
I love coming home to a fresh smelling house, with not pet or smoke odors. With Febreze, that's what I get.
I don't usually use Febreze on my clothing unless it has been in the closet for a while. Most of the time whatever I wear has been recently washed and I don't feel the need to Febreze it.
I have never had any problems with Febreze leaving stains or residue. It dries fairly quickly as long as you don't saturate the area and then it just disappears.
Febreze is available in the same stores and same aisles where you purchase laundry detergent. Prices vary depending on the size of the bottle and the store.
Ingredients
water, alcohol, odor eliminator derived from corn, fragrance.
