I picked this TV up when it was on sale during the Christmas Holiday Sales. I must admit it's not a bad TV but there is still much to be desired.
--Display:
The Size of the screen is a great size for the size room that it is in. The screen does seem to be a touch on the grainy side but for the price at which it was purchased it is far better than others in it price range.
--Sound:
The sound is of decent quality it's nothing spectacular but it is good enough to just watch your favorite shows on. This TV is mono which is something of a dissapointment. Though the TV is mono you cannot tell the difference from a normal stereo TV. It doesnt seem to affect the sound/picture but it isnt quite up to par with my 25'' RCA stereo TV.
--Remote:
Apex seems to be known for manufactoring cheap, inexpensive electronic equipment. The remote is definately a cheap remote. It doesnt seem like they put alot of time into seeing what works and what doesnt as far as key placement goes. All the keys are easily seen on the remote but they are not so easily found when your not looking at the remote to change the channel. (blind fireing of the remote)

All in all this is a relatively nice unit. It's nothing spectactular but if all you're looking for is a tv that has a nice picture and be able to hook up your DVD/VCR/Game system/ect... than this TV just may be the for you. I paid $169.99 for this TV but a friend of mine got this tv for free with the purchase of a new cell phone and monthly plan
