Re: Do you still have Verizon? (Reply to this comment)
by jps246, in Electronics
I had it through the winter of 2008 and then switched to AT&T mostly because I got a better deal and my partner was using a ton of minutes so the rollover thing was attractive. I really didn't have any complaints with Verizon the entire time - I always had good phone service and the phone really worked just about anywhere I went in New England and the rest of the country (throughout the southwest and over in Hawaii).
Having had AT&T for a bit now, I imagine that when the plan expires, I'll probably go back to Verizon. I think they have better coverage, especially in the northern parts of New England, even though you have to pay a bit more for it.

Do you still have Verizon? (Reply to this comment)

I know this review was written a while ago so I was curious if you still have Verizon Wireless. I live in the Boston Area so you're review was particularly useful.
I already have Verizon phone and DSL so I would save money if I switch over from AT&T (formerly Cingular).

The worst DSL I've ever used (Reply to this comment)
by mel7426
I came from London where BT was dominant and THAT was terrible service. But when I installed DSL from Verizon I realized what the worst service really is. I live near Boston and work from home, so am totally dependent upon my email and ISP. Verizon is slow, buggy and goes down continually. I'm switching to Comcast. We'll see if that's any better.

I have never heard of a wireless company that has good customer service. My Cingular CS is the worst CS I have ever experienced by a long shot.

Can you hear me now? Good! I've known several people with this plan that are relatively happy with it. Nice job!
