The Bottom Line It's almost impossible not to recommend Ebay to anyone and everyone. It's a wonderful service.

The old saying "One man's trash is another man's treasure" has never been more true than it is now. Ebay gives you the opportunity to clean all those old boxes of stuff out of your attic and make some money at the same time. It's slower than a garage sale, but potentially much more profitable. And for those of you looking for rare or out-of-print items, there's no better place to look.
Still, "Caveat Emptor" is an important phrase to remember too: Let the buyer beware. If something seems to good to be true on there, it just might be. The majority of the sellers on Ebay are honest people, but the very few who are dishonest can be pretty annoying. I've personally been taken for about $50 for a rare vinyl album, and it's not a nice feeling. Unfortunately, there's not a lot that can be done about a small amount like that.
Overall though, Ebay is a great place to buy and sell anything you can imagine. If you've been looking for it, you can probably find it here.
