Simply put, Ecampus.com is all about taking the money while they can.
Two semesters ago, I bought a book that they told me was in stock, but they informed a week later that it actually was not in stock and would be shipped as soon as possible. I finally received the book in the second week of the semester.
I decided to give it one more chance this semester, and I ordered a text book and accompanying workbook about a month before the semester began, so as to allow some time for the book to arrive. It did arrive on time, but they shipped me two text books. Since I didn't think to open the package until the semester began, I didn't realize the error. I wound up dropping this class and when I went to return the books, I saw on the packing slip that there was a 30 day return policy. This meant that I was stuck with not one, but two text books that I didn't need.
I called Customer Service, was put on hold for 30 minutes, and was told by the rude customer service rep that I couldn't return it, and she didn't care that I would never use ecampus.com again, and would tell as many people as I could about my experience.
Maybe it is a little bit cheaper to buy books using ecampus.com, but since they end up screwing you in whatever way they can, you end up losing money. Save yourself the trouble and NEVER use ecampus.com.
