earplugs absolutely a must... (Reply to this comment)

I can't agree with you anymore - earplugs are an absolute necessity- I ride a combination of sport and cruisers- my R1 screams and my dyna roars - both are taxing on the ears. I noticed how beneficial earplugs were when I did 360 miles on good friday ON AN R1!!!! I wasn't even bothered after 325 I got home and felt fine. Later during the night I took a quick spin with a friend for only another 40 miles or so (thus 360 for the day) and just that little 40 miles without ear plugs KILLED ME...wind and exhaust noise means fatigue - try earplugs, yuo will swear by them
