Epinions sucked a whole lot less before all this "rennovation" started (is that how you spell that? Errr. . .). A long, long time ago, in a website far, far away, you could get instant updates on your account, and you could see that primo moola piling in at the pace of what amounted to real-time (able to hit "refresh" to see changes in your account). Now, all that is different. It may take days for Epinions to realize that you are making any money. Sure, your opinion may have 30 Very Helpfuls, or what have you, but Epinions will remain stagnant for days afterward, never updating the tally on your tiny amount of money earned. This is especially annoying if you order a check, and it skims off 20 or 30 cents, leaving it in your account. Since it takes $10 to get a check, you may be waiting for that chump change for a looong time. Also, I didn't immediately notice bugs in the Epinions site, but they are starting to multiply like a plague. One of my recent reviews went down inexplicably for several hours. That has never happened to me before, and it is at least mildly aggravating. I would perhaps seek out new avenues for this sort of activity, but unfortunately, there aren't many sites like Epinions that I've found. Give me Epinions or give me. . . Compensation!
