Awful! They offer lots of items, but they don't have then in stock!

My family had frequently shopped at a Ross Simons store location in Barrington, RI (it recently closed)and received wonderful service. So when it came time to register for my wedding, Ross Simons seemed like the perfect choice.
I not only registered for items on-line, but also placed an order for jewelry I intended to where on my wedding day. There were so many mishaps with my jewelry order: their on line payment system didn't work; my order didn't go through due to some glitch in their system; an item that was available the day I originally placed the order was no longer available the next day when I had to re-order the items due to that glitch; of the 4 items I ordered, 3 were on backorder (which I only learned the day after placing the order; of the three back ordered items, they could only give me an estimated ship date for one of the items; my credit card was charged for all of the items, even though I had not received a single one; and then the piece de resistance... I received an e-mail telling me that one of the backordered items was discontinued/out of stock!
When I placed yet another phone call to Ross Simons to inquire what was going on with my order, their representative could not even find my order (although I gave her the order number). In the end I spoke with a manager (who found my order by the order number) and told her it was the worst on-line shopping experience I have ever encountered. Ross Simons did not even offer anything (like a further discount or at least to refund the shipping charges) to try to make up for the inconvenience and terrible service. I canceled my order and my registry - I did not want to take a chance of my wedding guests having a similar poor experience.
