Paper Handling:
Pros:All-In-One functionality, built in network (no computer needed to share on network), price.
Cons:A little bit on the big size
Setting this unit up was a breeze. No glitches whatsoever. I purchased this unit primarily because of price and the fact that it was easily networked without having to share it on a computer. It easily installed on my network and since I use DHCP, my router automatically assigned it an IP.
Print quality seems decent; maybe not as good as others out there but I wasn't purchasing it to print high quality photos all day. If that's your goal, well then look into a nice quality photo printer. Still though the thing is plenty good for everyday purposes.
The size of the unit isn't too bad; a little bit bigger than I'd like but, hey, it contains a flat bed scanner, paper holder, control panel etc.
Price was right: $179 with $30 mail in rebate at Office Max.
I love the automatic paper loading. Sure beats having to manually insert every sheet of your fax or copy.
The unit also shows phone numbers if you subscribe to caller ID service through your phone company. Nice feature.
