3 star!? Am I missing something? Because as far as I am concerned this place isn't missing anything at all. My wife, 12 month old son and I went in February and, OK I did yearn for the ability to totally relax without the schedule and physical limitations of a 1 year old intruding but that's not the resorts fault.
The food was fantastic, the staff were energetic, attentive and kind.
One warning. We were not part of any package tour which does mean you have to find your way to the resort yourself. That means a taxi if you arrive at that time of night, and if your not careful an expensive one. A 2 hour ride in New York might cost $100 minimum but in Panama $70 is more reasonable and even then the taxi driver is counting his lucky stars.
Even so the hotel does everything to cater. It is spotlessly clean and well run. The beach is so good you actually leave the phenomenal pools to walk the 10 yards to enjoy it. A huge find in anyones terms.
