Five and a mini for $8.00.
I first discovered the 3M lint roller while visiting my Vets office with Shadow, our dog. They had the 3M lint rollers for sale at the counter with cute little puppies and kittens on the edge of the removable cover, so of course I had to buy one. It was $3.00, but it was cute.
After that lint roller ran out I threw the plastic holder in the recycling bin and went to buy a new one. My current 3M roller pack was purchased at BJ's (a warehouse club in NY) for $8.00 - (a real bargain!) I got 5 rollers and a mini roller, great to carry in a pocketbook or in a briefcase. Each of the rollers comes in a different colored plastic.
The roller and the handle measure almost 8 inches. The adhesive portion of the roller is 4 inches and the handle is about 4 inches and is ribbed and contoured making for easy and comfortable grasping whether your are right or left handled. The handle on this roller is tapered to a point and has a hole in it and can easily hang from a hook in a closet. It doesn't take up a lot of space, mine hangs from a hook on the inside of a closet door. The removable cover is not paper, but a thin plastic that does not rip or tear. It is easy to replace back on the roller. Make sure you remove the last used roller sheet or the cover won't stick in place.
This roller is the Professional Roller has has 25% more adhesive sheets than the 3M regular sized roller.
Each sheet on this roller measure 4 inches by almost 6 inches. There are 70 sheets which are perforated and tear easily after using the roller. There are a total of 38 feet of adhesive sheets so you can do a lot of lint picking up.
What do I use this lint roller for, well as I mentioned earlier, Shadow, my beloved baby...I mean dog tends to shed a lot, especially between spring and summer. His shedding is extremely bad because he suffers from allergies and it's not just his hair that's a problem, but also his flaking skin. I have found that using this Lint Roller on him (he actually loves to be rolled) I go through about 10 sheets of adhesive sheets each morning (he's a BIG dog) on him and it eliminates a lot of the hair falling on the floor, getting on the furniture, on the rugs and on us. What is also great about this roller is that the flaking skin/dander sticks very well to the adhesive.
I have also used the roller on more conventional things like clothing, furniture and carpets for a quick de-furring or de-linting. I also use it on the carpets in our SUV after Shadow has been there. Pretty much, anywhere Shadow goes, the roller is not far behind. I do own a vacuum cleaner, but for quick pick ups, the rollers a lot easier and quicker.
These rollers are 3M Cat. # 834R-70PRO
