Hi stranger! Thank you for the birthday greetings. Is your Ott light the color black? If so, I saw that model in the store. The one I have is a light gray color, and I thought the clamp with base would offer me the versatility to move the light around the house. Have Ott light will travel!

Never thought to take it with me on road trips. Great idea. Some hotel/motel lighting is horrendous. This Ott light would really brighten up the room for sewing, reading, and computer work.

Wishing you a fantastic day,
Dawn

Hi Annie! Sneak this item onto your holiday wish list. :)

They make wonderful gifts ... so let everyone you meet know that an Ott light is the way to your heart. LOL

Thank you for leaving a comment.

Enjoy the day,

I have the earlier version of this same lamp. The only difference is that mine only clamps on, there's no heavy base. But it's been invaluable for my quilting. It clamps onto my sewing machine cabinet; or onto the table next to my comfy chair for hand sewing or reading; it's easy to take to classes; it's even come on driving vacations so that I can have better light for working or reading in the motel. I'm sure you'll find a zillion ways to use this wonderful lamp. Oh, and an early Happy Birthday -- I know when it really is....

My 'mil' has one of these and when she hops out of he chair, I'm quick to get into her place and use that light for sewing! It's much easier to quilt with the light than without. I just wish I could afford one for my own home *pout*

Great review..

Hi Lorace! I'm really enjoying this Ott light. I'm sitting here typing this near 11:30 p.m. ... and with this Ott light, I feel as if I'm in a pool of sunshine. Good thing my computer has a clock or I would lose all track of time! LOL

Wishing you the best,
Dawn
