Well, I married an Englishman, so kinda had to stay! Still, I miss American plumbing...one of these days I'll have to write a review - I've been known to rant about English plumbing in many a pub!

...but I did a year abroad in Munich in 1987-88 (giving away my age, I guess). During the long mid-term holiday, I came to England. I'm still here. Brings new meaning to a 'semester' abroad!
Great idea for many people, though, at sea (if that's your cup of tea).
