Thanks Julie, I wonder if the strawberry cheese is something like cream cheese with strawberries whipped in? Chocolate cheese sounds wonderful - can you do anything wrong with chocolate? But it sounds like I have to agree with you on the mint cheese...doesn't sound too appealing!

Maybe it was me who liked the chocolate milk then! Ha! Yes, there were a wide variety of different types of personalities there too. Thank you for your comment, Randall.

I don't remember the chocolate milk but I do recall that it was a wide feeding ground for mutants and creatures of the sort as the food was infectiously edible, surprisingly. Ah, kidding.

Frankenmuth (Reply to this comment)

Saginaw might not be exotic but Frnakenmuth is. They have the most.... interesting cheeses there.
Chocolate cheese, peanut butter cheese, strawberry cheese and mint cheese.... all are awful but the mint is just plain wrong. It has no redeeming factors.
Sounds like a decent place to stay!

Thanks Steve and Caroline! Actually I wrote a review of the time we went to MACKINAC Island. Please check it out! We got lucky and didn't have to pay the $10 fee to walk through the hotel!

The film Somewhere in Time was filmed at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. It's beautiful, I was on the island for a day recently although I didn't see inside the hotel (if you're not staying at the hotel you have to pay $10 just to go inside it!)
Great review as always Gael.

Isn't Saginaw, Michigan the place where they filmed the movie, Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeves and my favorite, Jane Seymour?
Did you get to visit that hotel they filmed this movie at? I saw pictures of the island. Looks really cool!
Great review!
