Spamhole.com is a free email site with a twist: It provides anonymous, temporary email forwarding addresses that can be used to avoid spam entirely. You use your @spamhole.com address to post on usenet, sign up for online offers, etc. and protect your "real" email address from spammers. Spamhole also works without needing login names or passwords.

Heres how it works:

1) Choose a @spamhole email address (for instance: whatever@spamhole.com)

2) Decide how long you want the @spamhole.com address to be active

3) Recieve emails (automatically forwarded to your regular address) while the spamhole address is active. Recieve nothing once the spamhole address expires.

Your spamhole address acts as a shield for your normal email address. When you sign up for something, you usually get your setup emails within a few hours; at most, the legitimate emails take a day to be sent. All of these emails are forwareded to your normal address. The illegitimate emails (spam emails) dont start to show up until a few days later, by which time your spamhole address is shut down. Spamhole is better than servers that try to figure out which emails are spam and which are not; it doesnt let any spam through, even the spam emails that are designed to evade anti-spam servers.
