Now ya gone and done it! I had to do a Google search to figure out what the HECK you were talkin' 'bout (not being a Philip Glass fan, despite his being a good ole Baltimore boy). Finally found the discussion of his Itaipu composition and how the immense scale of this dam inspired him to write it.
Thanks for the bizarre tangent...I love trivia snippets like that!
