Mycoupons is THE place to pick up great ideas. I wasn't meaning to steal the idea from whoever mentioned it there. I just thought that by spreading the word, more people could benefit from this method.

I'm also a binder use - and also picked up the idea on MyCoupons.com ... I'm HORRIBLE about keeping it up to date.. but hey.. I grocery shop once ever 2 - 3 weeks, so that's ok! ;) Isn't it amazing how much you can save with coupons?

The coupon binder wasn't totally my idea. I read about it at mycoupons.com. So, that person has to take credit for the initial idea. However, I described in this epinion, how I organized my binder. The use of the rotary cutter and mat, however, was my concoction.

I save a tremendous amount. There are 4 of us (18 year old son, 20 year old daughte4, hubby, and myself). I only spend about $35 - $40 per week on groceries (including health/beauty and household stuff). I stock up when there are sales for the stuff I regularly use. I REALLY stock up when there are special coupon deals like triple coupons at a store near us.
Most of the $35 - $40 each week goes to fresh stuff since I can get the other things so cheap. See some of my other reviews for other ideas on how to cut your grocery bill.

I also use coupons. I use a red velcro closing wallet type of holder. I only have two categories, food and household product.
What you have described is ingenious. How much money do you save at the grocery store each time? Are you like me and buy the products on sale and use a coupon at the same time? It all adds up. I can see you are extremely organized, which I think most of us "coupon people" are. Thanks for taking the time to be so detailed.

Great idea! I'm going to have to steal it from you. I don't have as many coupons as you do, but I think it would help me to have it set up this way, so I can make my grocery list easily.
