Big BendMay 24, 2001 Write an essay on this topic.The Bottom Line Big park, lots of choices. I would check out Big Bend Natl. Park in SW Texas. The park is huge with an assortment of terrain. Back when i was just getting into mtn. biking i took my bike there on a family vacation. I rode a good eight miles down a great double track road and even though i got a flat and ran out of water and had to hot foot it all the way back to the campsite, the scenery was amazing and i had a great time. Personally, i would like to do more research on the park and return now that i am a much more skilled rider and i have better equipment and so forth. However, i would NOT recommended visiting in the dead heat of summer though.  |
