You may not fall in love at first taste, but if you stick with the style, you will reap great flavor rewards.

Next time I'm in Appomattox, I expect one of each to be waiting my thirsty palate...

Stout and porter are specialties at The Dragon Weyr. We have several recipes that we make regularly. Porter was being made by Matlacks when we still lived in England and my grandmother carried the tradition on during Prohibition.

Great review! Keep writing!

Pamela

p.s. You can try doing what a lot of us do when reviewing something that is not on the list, just find something similar and add a note of explanation at the beginning. You may get the odd NH from the OffTopicCops, but who cares what a bunch of humorless twits think, after all!

Thanks for the kind words, flame.

Know what you mean about the plagiarism thing. Been a victim of that myself.

Those of us who write often see our words as our "children" and we protect them with the same fervor we would our natural offspring.

Thanks, Andy.

Since I'm just getting my feet wet here at the brewery, I may need some assistance. How, for example, do you go about reviewing a beer that has never been reviewed before?

I seem to remember a note on epinions that said they are not accepting any new product reviews.

I appreciate any help, and I hope I can make a positive contribution.

Nice entrance!! I actually had to check and make sure this wasn't plagiarized, cuz some people around here do that. Good to see a real review on here for a change. Great job! Take care~
