Pros:Extending handle, can be used with 2 different scrubbing heads.
Cons:None so far
The Bottom Line: This is a good scrubber for removing soap scum and unpleasant grime from your bathroom tile, tub or shower stall.

If you've read a few of my reviews, then you know that I like to try out new cleaning products, especially if it makes my cleaning chores easier to do. A few weeks ago I came across this Scotch Brite Shower&Bath Scrubber, while shopping in Wal-Mart, which I purchased. I figured it would be a good brush to clean my bathroom with.

I really don't enjoy cleaning my tub and bathroom tiles, any more then any body else does. I usually get down on my knees to scrub out the tub, or I'll bend over and try to reach the whole tub and tile area that way. And to clean the top part of the ceramic tiles off, I usually have to get one foot right into the tub, so I can reach the upper tiles to clean. So when I spotted the Scotch Brite Scrubber Brush, with the Extending handle I knew that the $5.86 that I paid for it would really solve a few of my bathroom cleaning problems.

A FEW FEATURES:
The complete handle measures 20 inches long, from the scrubber head to the end of the handle. One nice feature is that the handle can be extended up to 28 inches and locked into place to clean high or hard out of the way surfaces.

It comes with a blue multi purpose no-scratch scrubber head. The texture of the scrubber head has a little rough feeling to it, but I've found that it doesn't scratch my tub or ceramic tiles. The multi scrubber no-scratch head is a good size and measures 4 inches wide by 6 inches long. One end of the is scrubber is narrow and is tapered so it can get into the corners of the ceramic tile and bath tub. The brush head also swivels for easy cleaning.

The blue Multi purpose scrub head does come with the handle, but you can buy extra scrubbing head refills if needed. There is also available a white bristled brush refill head which I did buy also which costs only $1.25. The bristled brush refill head has a lot of sturdy bristles, and is the same size and shape as the Multi purpose scrubber head is. The blue Multi all purpose scrubber head can be purchased at Wal-Mart also.

I like the idea of two different scrubbers, because one I can use for the tub and tile and the other I can use to clean out the bathroom sink with.

I have a small window up above my bathroom ceramic tile, that gets a lot of soap scum that gets splashed on from using the shower. Usually once a week I have to clean the window. And being I'm short (5 ft.) I've always had to stand in the tub to clean the window. But with the Scotch Brite Shower&Bath scrubber, I can extend the handle and finally reach the window to scrub and clean it without having to stand in my bath tub.

TO CHANGE CLEANING HEADS:
At one end of the handle near the multi scrubber head, there is a white small tab. I just push the tab up with my hand, and push the scrubber head forward, which slides the scrubber head out. Then the scrubber bristled refill brush head can then be slid onto the track handle and clicked into place. Removing the multi purpose scrubber head was easy getting off. When I tried to replace the bristled head scrubber I had a hard time trying to get it to slide on to the track. After about 2 minutes of trying I realized I had the brush head in backwards. Dummy me, all I had to do was look at the directions on the packaging and I would have known, how easy it is to change the heads.

EXTENDING THE BRUSH HANDLE:
Now this was also easy to do. The handle is chrome and at the end of the handle there is a nice blue 4½ inch plastic grip where your hand goes. First you unlock the handle by twisting the handle counter-clockwise and then pulling the handle to what ever length you want. Then to lock the handle I had to twist the handle clockwise. Extending the handle to the full 28 inches to clean my window over my ceramic tiles was really easy for me, no more stepping into my tub anymore either.

I've used both cleaning heads to clean. I like the blue multi purpose head to clean the tub and the tile with. The bristled brush head is nice to clean out the bathroom sink along with my kitchen sink when I like to give them a thorough and good cleaning. I don't have to clean the sinks with a sponge or paper towels, and I don't get my hands wet from any cleaning products. The scrubbing heads does all the work for me while my hands are kept dry.

The scrubbing heads should always be rinsed out good after each use. I even wet the scrubbing heads before applying any of my cleaning products to the area I want to clean also. After I'm done cleaning with the Scotch Brite Scrubber, I will rinse out what ever scrubbing head that I've used. Then I take the scrubbing head off the handle to allow it to dry. After it has dried I then replace the scrubber head back on the handle for storing. This way I won't have any dripping of water from the scrubber head on my bathroom floor.

STORAGE:
I purchased a hook and hooked it to the one side of my toilet tank that faces the tub. At the end of the handle, there is a good sized hole, which allows me to store the handle on the hook. This way it's right near when I need to do any bathroom cleaning, and it'll be out of sight from anyone who uses the bathroom. The extra scrubber refill head I keep under my bathroom cabinet in a old soap dish.

CAUTION FROM THE PACKAGE:
Some delicate surfaces may scratch. Test in an inconspicuous area with pressure you desire to use.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS:
I'm pleased with the results that I get when I'm cleaning with the Scotch Brite Shower&Bath Scrubber. Whether I use just the multi purpose no scratch scrubber head that comes with the Scotch Brite Scrubber, or the optional Bristle refill head, I know my bathroom cleaning jobs will get done. The extending handle is a joy to use for me. It allows me to get my cleaning job done without having to kneel or bend over to clean my bath tub and ceramic tile. I only wish that I had found it sooner, it would have eliminated a lot of sore knees and backaches. I do highly recommend it!

As usual thanks for reading!!
