IDS Sports – Sports Nutrition Products That Actually Work!

Over the years I have ordered from a lot of different body building, supplement and vitamin sites and most of them have delivered adequate service, competitive prices and fresh product. When I came across a bottle of Kranker Ultimate Fat Burner at a sports store at the beginning of the year I snapped it up, walked out of the store and wanted to scream at the top of my lungs when I reached the parking lot. Why? Because this is the old school, made in Canada version that contains ephedrine. For those who aren’t in the body building or fitness world, this is something that has since been banned from being sold within the confines of the United States of America thanks to some morons that couldn’t read and follow the label. But, that’s neither here nor there, this is about the manufacture of the product – IDS Sports also known as Innovative Delivery Systems.
So, what does the site sell? Anything and everything relating to fitness, weight loss, energy, recovery and protein products not to mention one of the best carbohydrate control products on the market – Carb Shuttle. But that’s just one side of the site; it also has a lot of information about how to get the most out of the products, cycling them, stacking them with other products and some very informative articles about how to get into shape, how to maintain it and the common pitfalls to avoid. The site is extremely easy to navigate, has no pop up advertising and presents the information in a way that is easy for everyone to understand. Some sites try to impress you with big words and famous faces … IDS avoids all that by using real life people, giving you information that is easy to understand and products that don’t kill you when you go to checkout.
Innovative Delivery Systems
If you are looking for products that contain ephedra or ephedrine you will be out of luck trying to find them here – or anywhere for that matter. Earlier this year sales of products containing both of these were banned in the United States – so any merchant that is claiming to have a product containing either of these is lying, scamming or breaking the law. Even though they don’t carry or sell products with ephedrine in them, they do have a remarkable line of fat burning, weight loss and protein delivery supplements. One of my favorites is the Multi Pro Whey Isolate Cappuccino [two pound] – talk about a delicious way to ingest protein! It mixes easily, tastes great and doesn’t leave you bloated – and when compared to other products that have similar compounds and the awesome taste – it’s a lot less.
One thing that sets IDS apart from other sport supplement sites is the fact that they have products that work – not just for the first few weeks but products that give you results that last. Mind you, these are not miracle pills that will just rip the fat off you, you do have to provide some hard work but the IDS system of supplements do give you a definite edge over the competition. I’ve used their products for a while now and can say that they do what they claim. The only thing that the site really lacks is the nutritional information on some of the products – if they listed the carbs, calories and serving information I am sure that they will have a lot more customers. Even so, a simple phone call to their office is all that it takes to get the information – so come on guys, start listing this stuff!
Some of the products I’ve purchased include Total Recovery – a great item to have on hand after a hard work out to give your body the necessary nutrients to rebound from the stress of heavy lifting. It’s a complete product, simply put, it’s easier than having to carry around five or six different products and it really does make a difference in how quickly your muscles recover. Since the no longer sell the old school Kranker, I had to go with the new updated ephedra free version that works well but doesn’t have that super strong kick to it. When I priced this locally it was selling for about $30.00 a bottle but order it through the website and you can get it for $24.99 – and trust me, it is well worth it! Another great perk to shopping through the site is the package deals that they offer – you get products that compliment each other and you get to save some cash at the same time. One of my favorites is the Extreme Cutting Cycle that gives you a bottle of Kranker [60 count] and a bottle of Methyl 5 [42 count] for $52.43. Do the math on that and you are saving about five bucks.
Payment Options
The site accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card for orders; at this time there is no other way to pay for purchases but if using a credit card isn’t an option for you, call their toll free customer service line to see if some other arrangement can be made. I’ve used my MasterCard and Visa for purchases and had no trouble with billing, processing the transaction or being charge an amount other than what was quoted at the time of check out. Checking out is pretty simple and you are giving the shipping charges before you enter any type of payment information. Checking out takes about three minutes and you can update your cart at any time.

Return Policy
While the return policy isn’t listed at the site I did call about a product that didn’t seem to be working for me and the company rep that I spoke with was more than helpful and offered to send me a replacement product. He told me to try using it a different way for two weeks and if I didn’t see results he would send me out another bottle or refund my money. For a company to say “take it for another two weeks” and not care whether or not the bottle is empty or full says a lot about them. They really do stand behind their products and want you to be happy with it. Unopened products can be returned within thirty days for exchange or refund but like I said, they really do stand behind their products and want you to be happy. If you have any trouble using one of their products, call them to see if they have any suggestions on how to use it or stacking it with another product to get the most from it.
Shipping Fees
You can have your order shipped via UPS or USPS and usually they will ship which ever way is cheaper. Most of my orders have been in the $50.00 range and cost about $6.00 for shipping. My orders usually arrive in about a week which isn’t bad considering they are on the opposite coast. Since I rarely keep my delivery slips I had to dig one out to double check the numbers and the one I found was for almost $100.00 with the shipping fee being $6.99 – not bad at all. All the items I received were packed perfectly and none of the items were ever damaged during shipping.
The Bottom Line
So far I’ve had nothing but great experiences shopping at the IDS site; their customer service is second to none, their products are exceptional and their prices are extremely competitive. If you are into fitness, body building, weight training or just want to pick up some products for some extra energy you owe it to yourself to check out the site and try out some of their products. If you ever have any questions about the products listed at the site or need more information, they are always there to help out in any way they can- and they are totally honest about their products. It’s rare that I try out an independent company like this – let alone recommend them to others, but after the success I had with their Kranker product, they get high marks from this freak!
