Here I am, two days past my sister's wedding, and I have in my closet a boxed bridesmaid gown from Gownsonline.com. It arrived one week before the September 25th wedding, although I ordered it on June 3rd. (that's 14 weeks if you don't like math).
I had to do the legwork to find out where my dress was, as the company neglected to inform me that there was a dye lot stain and the dress had to be remade. Considering that they tell you to "order big" my dress was enormous, and would have had to been altered had I been able to wear it. I had to fly out to my sisters a week before, and the dress arrived the day after I left. So I instead purchased a last minute dress to wear, much to the Bride's dismay. So far, I have not been contacted by the owner, as promised to discuss a refund. Every person I have talked to has blamed someone else, the customer service is awful (save for a single polite secretary) and the guy in shipping is condescending and unprofessional.
We were a bit leary of ordering a dress on line - and it turned out to be a worthy feeling. Avoid this place at all costs. I will update if I get a refund in an future post, right now I don't have the energy to deal with the Gownsonline dream team.
