Unlike some other camcorders, this one has a microphone that does not pick up the sound of the tape mechanisms, which is a definite positive.
Wow! I've tried a couple of Sony's,last years models, and this was a big problem with those models. I wonder how they fixed this? Wish this fix was available as an upgrade to older models...
