I have had two experiences with Blinds.com. The first was a problem because after two weeks I had to ring the company to find out where my order was. I was then advised (after the Blinds.com representative made several phone calls), that they did not have the material to make my blinds. They promised the material had been ordered. In all, it took six weeks to receive my blinds.
Foolishly, I placed a second order with them - but this time the outcome was even worse. The web site did not explain fully how the mounting system worked. When I received my order I realized that the mounting wouldnt fit so I rang the company to ask for help.
Well, help is not what they do at this company. I was told that a new mounting could not be made even if I paid for it myself. I had the choice of purchasing new shutters or building the mounting myself. It was not a difficult thing to do for me so I wonder why the company wouldnt let me pay them?
My guess is that these guys are a slop shop. They just get the stuff out with any concern for quality or customer assistance. Once they have your money, dont expect them to do anything to help you. And remember, when they say And your satisfaction is assured because our knowledgeable, fully trained staff has been selling window coverings for almost 20 years, they are not referring to your satisfaction at Blinds.com.
