Gateway Computers:What You Should Know

The Bottom Line Searching for systems is easy at Gateway Country. Why shop anywhere else?
I am not going to go into great depth into what I have learned about Gateway Desktops but am instead going to go into very short precise explanations of what you need to know.
People seem to knock the technical support that Gateway delivers but if you can ignore the page-by-page tech geek you get 3 out of 5 times when you call the final observation is that they do their jobs. Like every new computer user I had a few technical glitches in the beginning when I first purchased my unit and have not since had to use Tech Support.
I have been more than satisfied with how my Gateway and those of my friends have performed over time. I use my system tools often to defrag my system as well as to scan my disks for any errors.
I have a Gateway Country store near my home and have found the store personnel to be very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to answer any of my questions. I have owned my Gateway for over 18 months so far and have only had one major malfunction.
Roughly 3 months after I purchased my system my video card went out. To make a long opinion short, Tech Support sent me the proper replacement in a timely fashion and I had my computer running smoothly from then on.
I am totally happy with my Gateway and fully expect to exchange it for a newer model as soon as I am able. I highly recommend Gateway and their products for total satisfaction.
