You know, I could just fill this list up with a bunch of songs from Celine Dion, it's just that I choose not to. Okay, maybe I have one of her songs, but that's okay, isn't it? If you want to surprise your girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife whatever, then this is the mix just for you. I promise you that by the time this CD is over, you'll be in the romantic mood.
WARMING UP
LeAnn Rimes - How do I live To get us in the right mood, I've chosen an excellent ballad by LeAnn Rimes. She has just the voice that'll get us a bit romantic. It's a very nice power-ballad that I'm sure that you and your love will enjoy.
Sade - By your side I don't quite know if you can call this a ballad, but it's at least very romantic. Sade has a very nice, soothing voice. She has to have one of the best voices in this world. I get chills whenever I hear this song. Creepy.
Eleanor McEvoy with Mary Black - Only a woman's heart I don't know if they are irish, or if they're just pretending, but this song really has an irish sound to it. It is one of those songs that just make me feel so incredibly good. If you don't like this song, then you're weird. Great song.
Faith Hill- I would be stronger than that Ick. This song really gives me the creeps. I just think that Faiths voice fits so well on this song.. Just perfect for her! An extremely good ballad!
Okay, by now you and your love should be sitting in the couch, maybe in front of the fire, and cuddle. These four songs should have got you in the mood for love..
LET YOUR LIPS COLLIDE
Christina Aguilera- Por Siempre Tú The Spanish version of "I turn to you". I think that Spanish is so much more romantic than English. Don't you? It seems it's a much better language to sing songs in. Anyway, the very nice guitar in the background should bring you and your pet (um.. not animal.. sicko!) closer together.
Sarah McLachlan - I will remember you Sarahs songs are very nice. I had to choose between this one and "Adia". Her voice is just so perfect for this song. And the guitar and piano in the background is very romantic. Oh, do I see that you and your sweetie pie are looking each other in the eyes?
Westlife - Close It's not released in the US yet. Too bad. Well, you can download it from the internet. This has to be one of the strongest ballads Westlife's ever had. Much stronger than "Swear it again".. well, stronger than any of the ballads on their first album. In fact, it's the best boyband-ballad I've ever heard. Oh, so you're only an inch from your snuggles now?
R. Kelly - If I could turn back the hands of time The king of soul himself. I don't find it hard to believe that this was #1 on the European Top 20 for 24 (!) weeks. It's such a great ballad, that it almost makes me cry. (ey! don't laugh! I said almost.) I don't know what it is with him, but his ballads make me emotional. Ah, so your lips have finally collided now? That's good for you and your snuck'ums.
Celine Dion - My heart will go on
I simply had to have one of Celine Dion's songs on this album. She is one of the best singers ever. I got so emotional whenever this song was played on the radio before. I even shed a tear when the song was played on "Titanic" (you like a sensitive guy? ;) )The best ballad made in 90's. It looks like the room is getting a bit crowded now. Maybe I should go out..
Mariah Carey - My all
The choice was either this one or "Hero". Mariah "boob-job" Carey has really outdone herself on this song. Her voice... I'm almost speechless. (Peeping through the keyhole) Ouch! Don't throw your doll on the bed like that. It must hurt!
WHEN TWO BECOME ONE
Toni Braxton - Un-break my heart Some of you may not like to have music playing during the act, but if you do, then this is the song for you. Toni has a very deep, mystic voice, which will give you a little more excitement when you're in the hay. (um.. not that I have tried it)
Faith Hill with Tim McGraw - Let's make love I just couldn't avoid it. I had to add this song to the album. Even though I already have another song by Faith on the album. This song is just so romantic, and I'm sure it will be great to play when you're making love.
Well, I see that my work here is done. :) Glad to see you enjoyed the album. (If you were in any way offended by the sexual content, I deeply apologise. But sex is the most natural thing in the whole world. Right? )
