The Bottom Line These are albums that I have found to encourage me and uplift me. Things you need if you're going to be stranded

Stranded on a desert island with only 10 CD's? Well, here we go...

Number 1
Pastor Beverly Y. Jackson & Prosperity In Praise
Prosperity In Praise
I am proud to say this is my "Spiritual Mother" and Pastor. This CD brings our Sunday morning praise and worship music to you on a daily basis. My favorites are Enter In, Lord We Worship You and Holy Spirit. This album will bring the presence of God right into your car, living room or in my case..island.

Number 2
Ernest J. Lee & The Spirit of David
Album Title: Encourage Yourself
I am proud to say that this is one of my "Spiritual Brothers" my very blessed and talented spiritual brother. Remember his name, you will be hearing it again, perhaps on the Steller Awards!
I have just got to say this CD is off the hook!!! With beats that make you want to dance and praise and words that make you want to learn the song and sing a long. My faves are Gotta Get What He Promised Me, David's Dance, and Above My Head.

Number 3
Gospel Gangtaz
Album Title: I Can See Clearly Now
This the ever-so-controversial "Christian Rap" and I have nothing but good things to say about it, I love it. This is a CD you can put in the car and ride with all day...but alas, I am stuck on an island...well, at least I have music like this! My faves They Don't Believe That I'm Saved, Questions and I'll Be Good.

Number 4
Fred Hammond
Pages of Life
Well, You just are not going to find me to many places without one of Fred's albums nearby. This man can hit one note and take you before the glory of God. My favorites are Let The Praise Begin, and Jesus Is My Friend ( I think that's the right title, I'm a CD-holic, I know no titles just numbers :-)

Number 5
Yolanda Adams
Live In Washington
This girl can sing her face off!! I have been a big fan of Ms. Adams for years, beautiful music that makes you think. My faves: I Remember, Just A Prayer Away and Let Us Worship.

Number 6
Richard Smallwood
Healing Live In Detroit
This man has truly found how to tap into the presence of God with such songs as Thank You and Angels. My faves of this album are: Healing and Holy, Holy.

Number 7
Donnie McClurkin
Live in London
The fact that he sings like there's no tomorrow has absolutely no bearing on me picking this album. My faves: Victory Chant and We Fall Down, which I must say is something that we ALL need to hear every now and then, this song is such an encouragement.

Number 8
Mississippi Mass Choir
Mississippi Mass Choir Greatest Hits
Some of the old standbys are included on this album such as Near The Cross, and I Wanna Be Right.

Number 9
Kirk Franklin
1NC Project
I almost forgot Kirk!!! I'll be able to dance from sunup to sundown with this one and get some encouragement to boot!
My favorites are: Movin' On, Hands Up, and In Your Grace.

Number 10
Yolanda Adams
Through The Storm
We have already established that I like her. This CD has helped my through some trying times when I was younger. My faves: Riding Through The Storm, Even Me and Only Way.

These are the 10 albums that would take with me if I were going to be stranded on a deserted island, but wait...where would I plug my stereo at?
