| agent_s_k's Full Review: Kenwood KPM 610 Ear-cup Headphones |
I've had these headphones for a long time. They're real comfortable. I can't use ear-bud headphones much since they hurt my ears after using them too long but these kenwood headphones do just the trick! The earpieces are big like earmuffs and lines with a velvety material. The headband has a foam padding and the entire headset perfectly self adjusts to fit the head without being too tight or too loose. It's pretty twisty and can form to different head sizes and stuff. The headset is kinda big so unless your a dj or some raver running around on the bus people are going to look at you like a freak. The sound is real good and comes in very crisp. The ear pieces have the music delivered straight to your ear, and it has holes perforated in the sides like a mesh. This is a nice feature since you can hear the music, but you can also hear stuff that's going on around you. These are by no means noize canceling so you're going to hear a lot of stuff all around you. But this is important if you need to hear other things going on... but since most people think you can't hear them, you can choose what you want to ignore. Like if I am at the busstop and someone is asking me for a cigarette I just ignore them unless they tap me or something, then I shake my head at them and tell them I don't want any and go back to "ignoring them". It's pretty effactive. The cord is real long.. maybe even a little too long but it has a sound controller on it too so you don't have to reach to where the stereo or computer or mp3 player is stashed to turn things up or down. It has a gold plated two and a half milimeter plug and it comes with the adapter that plugs into larger plugs like guitars and keyboards and computers and stuff. Its a great set of headphones.
