I have hard water, and always have those ugly stains on my white shower, tub and sink. It seems like I can never really get rid of them. While talking with my mom one day she said she tried this new product and it was great. So I went out and bought Kaboom. I thought it was a bit expensive for a cleaner, I paid $5.29 for the spray trigger bottle, but I thought hey if it worked I would be a happy camper.
I brought it home and immediately put it to work. I have to say I was a bit doubtful, but I started to spray the shower first. It sprays out as a nice foamy type soap, and does cling to the shower walls for a time before it runs down the wall. The smell is not offensive, and that was nice. I can't stand the smell of that CLR cleaner although it does work with a lot of elbow grease. Now my mom told me all I had to do was spray it on and rinse away the ugly stains. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. As the foam started to run down the shower wall it did indeed take away the ugly hard water stains. So I sprayed more. It did clean the stains in the areas that got sprayed, and with a soft cloth I rubbed the Kaboom around on the walls and it really did clean the shower. Next I went to the tub... it worked wonderfully. Then the sink and I was still very pleased. However in the toilet... hmm well lets just say Kaboom does nothing if it is not full strength. The toilet did not clean up as well, even with the scrub brush, the hard water stains are still there. However I still buy and use Kaboom on a regular basis on my tubs, showers and sinks. Even my 10 year old thinks it is great for cleaning. I now buy my Kaboom, in bulk at the wholesale club. It will be a part of my cleaning supplies for a long time to come, I like that I do not have to spend hours with a scrub brush on my shower, tub and sink just to make it look decent. Cleaning my bathrooms have become so much easier.
I would recommend Kaboom for anyone with hard water.
