This I like :) (Reply to this comment)

Good stuff! I use frontpage myself and you're very on point. It's a great package to bang out quickie pages. For the more hands on approach (and more work of course) I use homesite.
A suggestion (if I may) to serve the laziest of all sufers:
Write something like "WYSIWYG stands for What You See Is What You Get, in case you don't know, as it's a much easier thing to abbreviate and I'll be using that a few times in the review"
Instead of "Those of you who don't know what WYSIWYG means, read my article on the subject"
Just for the folks whose poor lil wrists hurt from too much surfing and aol chatrooms to click the mouse the couple extra times ;)
Again, nice work!

Sorry I can't provide online training...
If I were independently wealthy, maybe... :)
Unfortunately, I am one of those working folk.
I'm glad I could at least give a helpful overview.
Try this link:
http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/2000/downloadDetails/FPTutor.htm
It will bring up a download page for a tutorial for FrontPage.
Save the tutorial to your local drive and install to a directory.
Open the directory and click on Default.htm
This is a pretty good web based tutorial that explains the main components of working with FrontPage to design and publish a web.
Thanks for the good words,
Mira

Terrific detailed review (Reply to this comment)

Wish you provided free online instruction to
older people (uh, over 30ish, well, 40ish, uh,
never mind). You said it all so well, but
I am so clueless.

Good job! (Reply to this comment)

Your review has almost convinced me to pick up and try Front Page again. From my experiences, it was too cumbersome and not easy to get started it. Perhaps if I bought some "Frontpage for dummies it would help"... at least for now I'd rather use something more straightforward like HotDog.
Anyway, great review!

Very well written and great advice. One can easily see that you really write from a "let me help" perspective.

Top-notch review! Great job for someone who has under 10 reviews. It took me a while to get the hang of this, but you seem to have the "knack!" Great job! Keep up the good work.
