Customer service is a joke

I used to love overstock.com, right now I am very upset and will never shop there again. There are too many honest companies out there, why should I waste my time with crooks? They refuse to honor their "Best Price Guarantee" policy as posted on their site: I found the same product for $50.00 less at three other sites, so I submitted for a price match credit. The next day they sent me an e-mail that said I will get a $12 credit?!! (Based on their policy it should have been about $35) There was no explanation or other details. I e-mailed back requesting clarification on their "magic math". E-mail correspondence fell into a black hole, so I called customer service, they basically said, "Too bad, we don't care" and invoked their policy is "subject to change without prior notice" clause, right there on the phone! It was a $370 order! If I return it they want a restocking charge of 15% so I'm basically screwed either way (do the math). I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I encourage anyone else who has been cheated by them to do the same: http://69.2.253.251/complaint/new/?from=complaints.bbb.org&bid=2003792 It probably won't amount to anything, but it's about all I can do over such a small amount of money. It simply amazes me that they are willing to lose a regular customer over such a small amount of money instead of keeping their word and honoring their own policy.
