Ease of Use:
Pros:Nice and big, but then, any 19" is big. Lightweight.
Cons:Reliability, warranty, customer service, millions of tech problems.
I bought this monitor because it was the only 19-incher I could afford. I did this against my intuition, saying to get a 17-incher from a more trusted brand that actually had a track record, whereas Sylvania doesn't have much of a record with LCDs at all.
Before I owned this monitor for a full month, a dead pixel appeared. I also now have two grayish spots on the monitor that appear to be permanent. That, and with alarming regularity, the monitor decides its cables aren't hooked up properly, and it starts displaying everything in 256 colors. The only way to remedy this is to turn it off, unplug all the cables, let it sit, then plug everything back in and turn it on. This usually solves the problem, but then the monitor will revert to the crap display within a few minutes. I have no idea what's wrong and neither does anyone else.
Add all this onto the fact that it has an atrociously short warranty (1 year), awful customer service from people who barely speak English, and a replacement service only if 10 or more pixels go dead, and you have one extremely unhappy customer.
