Buying from JJill.com was not the greatest experience I have ever had. It seems as though I had problems at every turn. From the ordering and the shipping, to the satisfaction with the products--nothing was what I expected.
When you order online you might be completing an order under the impression that everything they tell you is available will be coming to your door. I found out that is NOT the case. JJill.com does not have an inventory "clicker", so that by the time you complete you order, someone else might have already bought what you are trying to buy. Therefore you might have some items on backorder when you thought they were instock. the site is easy to navigate, however.
Shipping is too expensive. I paid $12 to get 2 shirts sent to me! If you think that would have gotten me quick shipping you would be wrong--one of my orders sat in the JJill warehouse for 3 days, all while they tried to blame UPS for not sending it.
One of the sweaters I got was not as pictured on the site. When I called about this, the rep told me I should have been told about the discrepancy, but since I ordered online they did not "get to tell me" (I think the website could have stated that the sweater was not as pictured, no?). I normally LOVE JJill's clothes, but trying them out through the mail can be an expensive venture.
I have found that if you make a big enough stink with JJill, they will refund shipping or give you a discount-- and I did encounter one very nice representative. In my opinion, though, the "snob factor" that a previous reviewer talked about is definitely there--even with customer service.
