So you wanna buy an Amp?

Only buy a Guitar Combo Amp that brings out the best in your guitar(s). Choose based on your needs and the amp sounds and tone you prefer.

Small Amp (Reply to this comment)

I need a lightweight single-speaker guitar amplifier with controlled distortion, and good highs (treble), at low volumes. I play a lot of open chords around the seventh fret and below, barre chords above the 7th fret, and leads above the 12th fret. I mainly play a Fender Telecaster Deluxe (w/ two humbuckers). This amp would mainly be for recording. What can I get for the least money? Thanks!

I've updated my review several times over the years and never bothered to e-mail those people who had originally rated me "helpful"...I hope that explains those early ratings!

I'm not sure why all the reviews weren't VH. I guess those people don't have the need to buy an amp! I'm getting an acoustic amp whenever I can scrape enough cash together.

Solid state is lame though in my opinion. I don't mind waiting for tubes to warm up, because they sound better:)

I love my Mesa Triaxis/20-20/2x12 vert recto cab.
