Opinion Summary
If I had to grow up (a little more), I'd buy one of these

Pros: Power, all-wheel-drive, shift feel, styling, premium feel
Cons: Rear seat room, could feel sportier still, not so good with automatic

The WRX is easily refined enough for daily use, even if the STi (in my opinion) is not. There's quite a bit of difference between the two.

That said, the Legacy is much more refined still. It has significantly more cargo room than the WRX, but not that much more rear seat room.

I was hoping that the WRX wagon was refined enough for daily use, and powerful enough and easy to handle... and have cargo space for what life throws at you (wife and kids included). Big moves I plan on just renting a van. :)

I just don't know if the Legacy is that much more refined and if it drives and handles sluggishly compared to the WRX wagon... is it even more roomier?

I guess when time comes, I'll look into it. :) Great review on the Legacy!
