The phone itself is beautiful. Small, light, and solid.
The top is plastic but the bottom metal.
The operating system is not quite a developed as some of the Samsung phones or the Nokia phones, but does have some features that surpass them. One of my favorites is its Call Screening option. It allows you to set an access control list. This list is used to filter all non listed numbers to voicemail, and all your listed numbers will ring.
Additional features that are interesting are personal ringtones that you can compose (http://www.mobilemelodies.com has some in text to type in)
this allows you to set up ring tones (that are cooler than the built in ones) for individual people so that you can identify them by ring. However, there are only 4 personal rings aside from the standard rings.
Battery time is average to that of CDMA phones. It's about 2 hours and some talk and 2 days standby. If you're a heavy user buy and additional slim battery for 50 bucks.
Travel wise it is a great phone to have. It operate on the european 900mhz range and the american 1900mhz range.
overall good phone, apparently it has a SAR radiation number of 1.49 max radiation allowed in USA is 1.6, so depending on how you sway regarding RF radiation, you might be put off by its high number.
