The difference is cost and qaulity.

The Bottom Line Gas costs, so does maintenance on your vehicle and you can lessen the damages to your engine by using one brand regularly and if you can afford it premium grade.
In today's world purchasing gasoline can downright cost you not just at the pump, but with your car as well. Unless you have an old klunker that you just keep running then I guess it doesn't matter which type you put in,those old cars can run on anything.
However, if you have a new car they are almost as sensitive as us women, and they prefer the finer things in life. Not only is premium of a higher grade, and yes it costs a whole lot more than regular, it does enhance the performance of your engine, and even some car models only take a certain grade of gas.
There is a difference and it's the cost along with quality. In short you get what you pay for.
