Pros: Excellent sound, low power consumption, space effective design, good sound isolation
Cons: May seem tight. Fiddly case. Some may prefer PX100's "airier" sound and reduced isolation.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended

| rodhagen's Full Review: Sennheiser Electronic PX200 Headphone PX200 Collap... |
I have owned the PX200 headphones for nearly a year now, and I'm extremely happy with them.
I bought them for use with an iPod. At the same time I purchased a pair of Sennheiser PX100's for my daughter, also for use with an iPod and have had an opportunity to compare them. The high efficiency and low impedance of both of these models are very well matched to the iPod. You don't have to crank up the volume as far with them as with some others, and this helps to maximise things like battery life.
Sound wise , the PX200's are "richer" than the PX100's. The 100's have a "lighter" , airier, sound. Both are very good, and picking between them is more a matter of personal taste and likely usage than "quality". In my case I chose the 200's primarily because they provide more isolation from external noise sources. While they might not match noise cancelling phones, I find them fine for use in aeroplanes, and bouncing around on rough roads in 4 wheel drives and the like (when in the passenger seat, of course!)
The case is a little fiddly at first, but I found I soon got used to it. It provides excellent protection. Mine spend much of their life in a back pack in the Australian outback, (I'm an anthropologist) . They look, and work, as well as the day I bought them.
As noted in another review, they fit pretty firmly if you have a large skull. (The PX100's are a little more forgiving in this regard) I thought this may have been a problem when I first put them on, but they actually remain comfortable enough to wear on a four hour flight without the need for remedial ear massage at the end of the trip as long as you adjust them properly.
