I had a special need for a top-down/bottom-up blind, and found that the only reasonable way to get one was to order from a web-site. That made me nervous, as I had never heard of any of the companies, and had no way to tell who was any good and who wasn't. I made my choice based on the fact that Yourblinds.com was the most user-friendly and informative site; it was because of the free, well-written information on the site that I was able to figure out what I needed. I was also comforted by the presence of many positive epinions ratings; I have now learned that Yourblinds offers a small incentive for customers to post ratings. In my case, the incentive prompted me to take the time to compose this post, but didn't affect the tone of my comments in any way. My experience was all VERY positive, from pre-order questions, to timeliness of delivery, to quality of product. I chose the Yourblinds house brand due to design considerations; it happened to also be cheaper, and it's hard to imagine the quality of any of the name brands could be better -- I received an excellent product, and am very pleased with it, and with all aspects of customer service. I highly recommend this company to anyone. Just so you know, I am recommending them as someone who is a Consumer Reports/epinions.com devotee, and who really researches purchases before buying. My point is, I'm picky and skeptical, and this company really came through.
