After I saw that you updated your review, I went ahead and looked over at the other reviews on this seat. Yours was not only VH, but it was the Most Helpful of all of them! :)

I can not remember what it looked like before the rewrite, but I can say that it is an MH now!

I definitely agree that there are safer seats. This seat was purchased as a quickie seat when we were out of town visiting family. Our other 2 seats that we use at home (Britax and the Graco infant seat) are 5 point harness systems. We also have the Century Bravo 5-Point Deluxe seat at the grandparents and I recommend that one as well.

People always say that the overhead seats are easier to use, but I've found the 5 point "racing harnesses" to be just as easy, and they are tons safer!

points!! Glad that you have 2 seats that are safer. I stay away from any shield type seats, they can cause head and facial injuries in a crash... Lynne
