Pros: Comfy cotton - maybe the most comfortable bra you'll ever wear; sensible, wide rib band
Cons: Wrinkly look across chest; fabric creases may show through clothing; difficult to undo nursing snaps
The Bottom Line: BUY IT! But know you won't look like a supermodel; you'll be comfortable instead.

| j3fer's Full Review: Bravado Maternity/Nursing Bras |
I have wanted one of these for months, but the price kind of gave me pause. It's not much more than a regular bra, but frankly, I buy almost all my clothes used, so spending more than $5 for anything runs counter to my nature.
However... now in my 7th month, I was getting really uncomfortable, and felt I needed the flexibility to grow a size or two either in the rib band or the cup size without having to throw away a perfectly good bra.
Anyway, I do plan to use it for nursing, and it seems like it would be comfortable enough, EXCEPT that the snaps don't undo very easily with a single hand. I was hoping they would loosen up with time, but other reviewers here have said this is not the case.
My biggest qualm is that this isn't a "sexy" bra with a traditional, smooth-fitting shape.
Maybe it's the way I'm built, but there's quite a bit of extra material "bunched" like a butterfly in the front where the halves cross (and I have a C cup now, so it's not from not being filled out properly!).
When I tried it on with a form-fitting maternity t-shirt, the bunching did show through, creating a few wrinkles under a shirt which is normally almost skin-tight (very flattering around the chest & belly, but not with this bra...!).
Also...it does tend to make your breasts look less distinctive ("sticky-outy") and more smooshed in.
BUT there is no squashy, smooshed-in feeling, as long as it's fitted right, and the cotton is so cozy and wonderful after the various things I've been wearing since I started to "grow" 7 months ago.
This is my 3rd pregnancy, but my 1st maternity bra - I have to admit, I've been a skeptic to date and am no longer. Bravado lives up to the promise of a comfortable cotton bra that is designed specially for us as we bloom. It has been well worth the purchase.
** UPDATE! June/05
I'm still loving this bra, but finding it a little on the hot side for summertime. However, even with my perspiring delicately (or not-so-delicately), the band still hasn't rolled, and I am pleased with the continuing support and fit. The snaps have loosened up a bit and I'm able to open/close them one-handed, BUT are still a little stiff so that I'm always just slightly worried that I will punch darling daughter hard in the face when I go to open up the milk bar. :-)))
In the hot weather, I no longer sleep with this, but with an ultra lightweight cotton Warner's Sleep Bra that is not available to review on epinions. I love that one, too! No complicated snaps or clasps... just pull down one side or the other and you're off to the races! It's so comfy I even sometimes forget to pull one side or the other back up, and then, if I'm wearing a nursing nightie, well... sometimes expose a little much to the elements. :-)
P.S. The "monoboob" look of the Bravado is one all my peers comment on, too... however, we are almost all wearing them anyway because they're so comfortable!
