The Bottom Line You really want to choose something that will give you the highest sense of enjoyment and fun. Pick something that has many of your favorite types of games.
Each of us has our own style of video game playing. Some of us like the flashy graphics, while others like the convenience of being able to take video games with you while on the road. If you are a member of one of the latter, then buying a handheld video game console is a good move for you. There are many different choices of handheld consoles today, especially with the fast growing technology at our finger tips. For instance, the Game Boy Advance is a newer video game console out there that everyone seems to love (at least that's what I here). The most important thing to remember when choosing a handheld video game system is to get something that you think you'll enjoy and get a lot of use from. What's also fortunate about all handheld video game consoles is that they're small, obviously, and they're an alternative to a more expensive console such as The PlayStation 2 or Nintendo 64. Of course, if you have either or both of those, that's great too! There's nothing like variety when it comes to playing video games. If you prefer more old style type gaming, you could always purchase regular Nintendo Game Boy or the Sega "Game Gear" console if they're still around. I, myself, have both of those older game consoles which I use sometimes, but I also prefer the later types of video gaming technology as well. The main point about choosing a handheld video game console is merely for enjoyment. What kinds of games do you like to play, and what consoles have those kinds of games? Obviously, you'll want to choose the system that has most of your favorite kinds of games for it. But if you're one of those people who likes all kinds of games, than just get any handheld console you prefer! Good luck and happy choosing!  |
