Pros: Get a Konica Minolta, rather than an HP, if print quality matters.
Cons: Poor print quality; slow printing.

| nedhop's Full Review: Hewlett Packard Color LaserJet 2500 Laser Printer |
In every respect but one, the HP Color Laser Jet 2500 is inferior to the Konica Minolta 2300. The HP:
1. takes longer to warm up,
2. takes long to print pages once it's ready, and -- most seriously --
3. delivers a print quality vastly inferior, especially in graphics, to the K-M. (In fact, the quality of print on standard paper is not much better than an HP inkjet.
The one feature that's superior is removing paper jams. The only reason I bought the HP is that my K-M had jammed and I needed a color printer right away. (K-M, to give them credit, agreed to send me a replacement printer when their engineer could not resolve the problem.)
Depending on where you buy -- I got both my HP and my K-M at Office Depot -- the costs of the two printers are about the same.
