I feel the same way about Logan Airport. Though nothing happened there because the two planes that hit the WTC came from our airport it is always on my mind. jo

Jo,
Very well written and pretty detailed. I have read many accounts of peoples experiences when visiting our memorial. I hope to be able to visit some day since it is only 30 minutes from my apartment. I still remember that day like it was yesterday and I probably always will. I remember my first and only visit to the Murrah Building when it still stood downtown and I remember the feeling of security I felt walking inside the granite and steel building and to think it came down so easy. Just goes to show how impressions of safety aren't always as they seem. Some day Kathy and I will take the kids to visit the memorial and I can tell by your review it will be well worth it.

LOL I too am pretty much going according to my notes but I skipped ahead (like way ahead to the end) when I wrote about the Holocaust Museum in Montreal. I find the National Parks hard to write because there is so much to say so I tend to put them off. I'm going for the bigger sights and then if I'm still alive LOL (91 days of traveling = a lot of writing) I'll go for others and I haven't even touched the cities themselves. Kathy you are the 2nd person who told me they live in Oklahoma and haven't been there because it has been too hard. I can understand but when you are ready it is worth the visit. Thanks for r/r/c. jo

Very nicely done Jo. Believe it or not, I haven't been there yet and I live here. Even though I did not know anyone, it deeply affected me and I haven't felt ready to go yet, one day we will though.
