If you are really fussy about keyboard cleanliness, or your computer is in a high filth area, they make sculpted plastic covers to fit over the keyboard. You can type through the cover, although you do lose a little touch and key responsiveness. For obvious reasons, some of us in the biz call them 'keyboard condoms'.
