The Bottom Line Epinions is certainly not a means of earning a decent amount of money, in fact some people would argue that it is a waste of time.
To the best of my recollection Epinions has been around a for a couple years now. I remember hearing about it in my English class during my Senior year of high school. My friends told me to check out Epinions.com because it allows you to earn some money via writing opinions on various topics. I figured that there was some kind of catch and you probably didnt receive any actual money but some kind of useless compensation. Therefore I never bothered to check it out and eventually I forgot about it. Then recently I recalled the name epinions.com so I figured I would take a look it. A few years ago my friends told me that you could make some seriously loot writing for them. However I was pretty disappointed with the stingy 1 cent per visit that epinions provides you with. Obviously I had not intended on getting rich off this website but I did plan on making a reasonable amount of money. I mean epinions barely allots you enough money to make a phone call on a pay telephone. I do not want to sound greedy because I am not writing opinions just for the money. I like to write so I suppose it's all good. I remember hearing that Epinions used to pay about 30 cents per visit compared to the current 1 cent rate. I am assuming that people used to cheat the system and ripped off epinions.com. Some kid that I knew in school told me that he earned 300 dollars form epinions.com and at that current compensation rate that would take about 25 years. I think that Epinions should reconsider their royalties rate and raise at least a few cents. Peace  |
